Chester Collins Scholarship
The Dr. Chester Collins Memorial Psychology Scholarship is awarded to full-time graduate or undergraduate Psychology majors who have shown evidence of involvement in and commitment to the discipline of psychology, and who have a 3.75 or better cumulative GPA. Amounts and numbers of scholarships are estimates, dependent on funding.
Award: $1000 Undergraduate, $1500 Graduate
Deadline: January 31
To apply, please visit the Humboldt Financial Aid website and complete their scholarship application form as well as an essay describing involvement in and commitment to the discipline of psychology. Evidence may be in, but not limited to, research, community work, employment history, etc.
The Lambie Family Scholarship
Awarded to a Psychology Major student who has completed at 60 units of undergraduate studies. Must maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher and demonstrate financial need as determined by the FAFSA.
Award: $2,000

The Kisasi Mance Award for Overcoming Adversity
Award: $1000

Awarded to a sophomore Psychology Major who has completed 30-59 units of undergraduate studies by May of the current academic year. Must maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher and submit an essay in 500 words or less which describes how the student has overcome adversity and turned their life around by making contributions to the campus and/or their community.
